I had friends in Maine who built their home with Ferro Cement. It was a big half dome that they then covered with sod. For stability, can you pour regular cement behind a wall made from Ferro cement? - David Kano
Well, The issue is still the stability. It needs to support the weight of a climber. Ferro may be able to support the load needed if back by cast concrete, we can look into it. I am not really interested in sprayed concrete unless it is the consensus of everyone involved in the design. As an aesthetic, I would like the concrete to be cast with varied aggregate to provide maximum grip, but maintain the look of polygonal geometry... This aesthetic is the only design input I would like to have on this project. This is for artistic reasons. Beyond this I would like no authority as far as decisions.
Project established by Max Scoppettone and the Lebanon Parks & Recreation Dept. Major Contributers are Cindy Heath, Paul Coats, and The Friends of The Rail Trail with Dick Mac Kay.
